Yeah Boi!!!
Southern Belle's record, Hurry Up and Thrill Me, is now out, and it's getting great press. Later today I'll post a few more selections. Last week we also finished mixing Paper Brain's new album, Ain't Nobody Cares, and I was able to dust off the trumpet and french horn and contribute playing with the brass section on the title track. That was a fun time. And Thomas Provost's record is now back from the mastering engineer, Carl Saff in Chicago, and it sounds just great. It's nice to finish up several records back to back. This month we've got more sessions with The Excellent Gentlemen, Elbo Finn, and a stint with the Central Catholic High School Jazz Band. That should be a kick. Something exciting is brewing, and soon I will be able to reveal some super secret, cool new news about the studio. But until then, it's nothing but hush! Yeah Boi!!! To tide you over, I'll post new mixes very soon.
