Southern Belle's record, Hurry Up and Thrill Me, is now out, and it's getting great press. Listen to Even Though My Body's Not Perfect [mp3] and Pacific [mp3]. Last week we also finished mixing Paper Brain's new album, Ain't Nobody Cares, and I was able to dust off the trumpet and french horn and contribute playing with the brass section on the title track. Fun times. You can hear Chemicals [mp3] and Ain't Nobody Cares [mp3]. Thomas Provost's record is now back from the mastering engineer, Carl Saff in Chicago, and it sounds just great. This month we've got more sessions with The Excellent Gentlemen, Elbo Finn, and a stint with the Central Catholic High School Jazz Band. That should be a kick. Something exciting is brewing, and soon I will be able to reveal some super secret, cool new news about the studio. But until then, it's nothing but hush! Yeah Boi!!!
